A really beautiful, early 19th century, English Hepplewhite, inlaid mahogany sideboard, circa 1800. The serpentine top is constructed from one-board of finely figured mahogany. Below are a centered drawer and two deep drawers with circular border. Sideboard features satinwood, cross-banded inlay and brass lion mask and ring pulls, above tapered square legs with spade feet. The back has through-tenon joints, as expected on an early example. Fabulous patina and shine.
Condition: Some wood splitting and losses, scratches/scuffs /dings consistent with age and use.
